Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Nia! She is a 10 month old Border Collie mix who came to us as a stray. She was more than likely dumped for her lack of interest of working livestock (she was instinct tested with sheep and would rather hang out in the flock and eat grass with them).
Nia was a “feral” dog in California’s Central Valley and it took animal control almost 2 months to finally trap her. Upon intake to the rescue, she was VERY shutdown and scared of people. Speed up 3 months to now, she is an absolute love bug, is much more outgoing and confident. Nia will be available for adoption soon as she is recovering from a leg injury.
Nia is AMAZING with other dogs but is timid with people but still loves meeting new people. She will need a savvy owner with a fully fenced yard. Someone will be very lucky to have her!
