Sheriff Callie is a 7-year old DSH mix. She is not a lap cat, but loves to be petted on her own terms. She is very sweet, and likes to be NEAR her person, but also likes her own space. She does not get under your feet, so she would be well-suited for an elderly person with no other cats.

If you enjoy the company of a cat, but do not necessarily want one in your lap all the time, Callie could be the right fit for you. She is great with kids, and is vocal and friendly once she has decompressed and is comfortable in her new surroundings.
