My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Rambo and I need to find my person. I have an outgoing personality, I’m 30 lbs. and the vet thinks about 6 yrs. old but I can’t remember. I get along with all the other dogs even during dinner time. I am an Aussie mix so I need to get my exercise so I think it would be great if I had another doggie friend to live with. I enjoy chewing on bones and playing but what I really want is to human companion to spend my time with. I just want to be your friend and will be willing to learn some new stuff although I already know some basic commands. And I’ll be a good alarm if anyone comes to visit, I just want to please you.

I am heartworm positive and available for adoption because Habitat 4 Paws will cover the cost of treatment while I recover with my new family. After treatment, I will need two weeks of crate rest with potty breaks on a leash, and an additional two weeks of limited activity so that my heart rate does not get elevated. After that I can gradually ease back into normal activity for a normal healthy life!
