My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maple is a very sweet and funny 11 month old girl. She is easy to live with and is housetrained, crate trained, and has a number of trained basic skills. She is shy with strangers and needs time to warm up. She lives with a certified professional dog trainer, who will be available for her lifetime to answer all questions regarding training and behavior. Maple lives with 5 cats and 2 young girls. She is great with the cats and the kids. She has told us that she’s not so sure about tiny kids, but especially loves, loves, loves the 8 year old girl she currently shares a house with.

Maple was born at our facility to a mom we pulled from the shelter 8 days before she gave birth. She was placed into our service dog training program, but along with her littermates, she developed shyness and aloofness with strangers as an adolescent. She takes a little time to warm up, but when she does, she is flirty and silly and has some of the cutest mannerisms! Once you make friends with Maple, she turns on some pretty irresistible charm!
