My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rappini is approx 1 year old 56 lbs. He is a playful puppy. He looks like a bassador, part lab and part basset. We know his mom was a black lab mix. He is what we call a low rider,, short legs and longish body. He's a very smart dog and can be a little shy with new people, but loves to run and play with his rescue buddies. He seems to be pretty well house trained and does pretty well on a leash. He needs a home with a yard as he loves to run and play, he loves toys and will sit patiently for his treats. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He also absolutely needs a doggy companion to play with.

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with no children under the age of 8, and experienced dog owners only.

WE REQUIRE TWO YEARS OF VETS RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER

The total adoption fee of $550 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper and canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you.
