My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caesar is a handsome brindle 3 and1/2 year old boy and the senior spokesman of the new group of hounds from the closed FL track. He raced 124 times, but now just wants to race for the nearest couch.

His small dog and at status is not yet known.

FOSTER UPDATE:

I scored a foster home too! I live with two peoples and no doggies. At first, I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do, so I just stayed in my apartment.

I ventured out when I smelled something too good to resist. Foster Mommy taught me she'd hand me yummies, so I didn't need to put my paws up on kitchen counter. I love that she's kind and gentle with corrections, and doesn't make me feel bad.

I'm brave enough now to relax on my bed in the living room, but I'm an introvert by nature. This whole social distancing/stay at home thing is totally okay with me.

I love our quiet house. Noises are scary. I accidentally knocked over a bowl and nearly had a heart attack. My legs were scrambling on the wood floor like a cartoon doggie on TV.
Another time, I was cuddling with a new, soft toy and it squeaked. Yikes! Later I found a play bunny, and you know bunnies are irresistible, so I decided to try again. It grunted!! For heaven's sake....a thought bunnies were super quiet.

The things I like best about being a pet are pets, back rubs, hugs. kisses, walkies and car rides. I also like that I can tap my paw on the patio door and my foster mom or dad will let me out to potty.
If you live in a peaceful home and have soft, squeak- and grunt-free toys, I'd love to meet you.

Hugs and Sloppy Kisses,
Caesar
