My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maverick was found abandoned and alone outdoors, suffering from anemia due to starvation and his fur was so matted to his skin he required a total body strip down. The poor guy needed help and found it. He has been recovering since November on a slow weight gain diet and has had blood work to determine he has no other underlying issues, and has also had a dental check up.

He recently had a small mass removed from his under his right eyelid which was causing his eye to discharge. He is just recovering from that procedure in these pictures but, is super healthy now and on the up. He is looking for a forever loving quiet home with a cat or dog to spend the rest of his life.

We are so happy to help him back on his paws and guide him into the loving arms he deserves. This poor guy is a sweet, tender and gentle soul and deserves the best.
