My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

They call me Sunshine, but I am not sure why. I am from the Cities of Australia litter. My foster mom is always holding me and singing, “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when clouds are gray”. Not the best singer, but I get lots of love and snuggles, so Im ok with it. I am mostly black, with a white spot on my nose, and a tip of white on my tail. I started off quite small, but am making up for it now. I love to play with my siblings, eat, pee, poop, sleep (and snuggle), and repeat. Life is good. If you want to meet me or my siblings, just send in an application. They say I am 8 weeks old, I am current on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. I am working on house training. Not there yet, but doing pretty good. This pup has not yet been altered and requires an extra $100 spay/neuter deposit. JCAPL will pay for the procedure at a partner clinic and once completed, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter. However, a non-local adopter is required to pay for the spay/neuter at their own veterinarian by a specific date. After proof of the procedure is provided, $50 of the adoption fee will be refunded with the deposit.

Are you interested in adopting this puppy or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).

We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application.

Thanks for thinking adoption!
