My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly Brown is a tiny mama cat. She could hardly be picked out from her 4 babies as a Mom. As a baby, Molly's legs were broken, she lost the tip of her tail and possibly her spine was injured. Somehow she fought for her right to live and to walk. She was discovered by a lady renting there, she got critical help to live. Molly healed naturally and can walk and run, climb and even took care of her first litter of kittens. She truly is the 'Unsinkable' Molly Brown, charming and happy. Mama cats often are a bit bossy, and hard headed -- not Molly, she is and will always be - Your Mama. But she is gentle and loving. An experienced cat lover adopter will love Molly Brown and her occasional Spicy attitude. Experience or lots of patience and love will fit Molly into your home quickly.

You will be asked to complete an adoption application.

C.A.T. Rescue does our best to get these babies off to a good start. As much time as needed is spent helping them gain good health. Many had stray moms struggling to survive. We do our best to treat and rid kittens of intestinal parasites, coccidia, giardia, upper respiratory, as well as ear mites, fleas. All adoptables are spayed and neutered and up to date on shots as their age permits. Most 4 month olds will be complete on all boosters and vaccinations. Kittens are not routinely tested individually for felv/fiv. If they were received as babies with mother, she is tested and you will be given her results. All medical records for each kitten will be provided with their adoption.

C.A.T. Rescue is not a shelter, we are foster based. We showcase our adoptable pets at adoption events most weekends at many locations such as PetSmart. Appointments can be made to meet and greet our cats and kittens at other times. Visit and like our Facebook page for event schedules or contact us at CatAlliesofTexas@gmail.com.

Cat Allies of Texas Rescues' mission is focused on cats of Comal county. Our vision is to keep cats out of shelters, place adoptable cats and kittens in a home, reduce stray and feral populations through TNR. Help colony caregivers manage and care for their cats. C.A.T. Rescue will offer, when possible, humane assistance to all animals in need.
