My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Henrik and I LOVE naps! Don't get me wrong, I love play time, veggie time, and snacking time but I am amazing at taking naps! Once I hid from my foster bending a chair to get sneak in a quick nap before I came back out to play with her and some toys. I am a little shy, but I am also very curious so I ask my new family to be patient with me while I adjust but I am a very good boy. I enjoy investigating things in the room when I am out of the cage, and can easily speed around them like an obstacle course. Treats are great, but I love vegetables; my favorites are cilantro, yellow bell peppers and kale and blueberries are my favorite dessert. I might be shy, but I am spunky and would do great with any loving home. I would do best in a home with out younger children as I'm still super shy but would be great for middle aged grade school children and older.
My adoption fee is $35

RCHS guinea pigs live in loving foster homes where they are socialized, given sufficient exercise outside of their cage, and fed a diet of grass hay, Timothy pellets, and fresh vegetables daily to maintain a healthy weight. Guinea pigs do require a vet trained in exotic animal medicine and have special housing and dietary needs. We encourage you to please research guinea pigs thoroughly before adopting.
