My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet this goofy gal, Ginger! Ginger is a 3 year old Retriever mix who's ready for her new leash on life! Sadly, she was found wandering around as a stray, so we don't know all too much about her history. But what we do know is how loving she is! Ginger is very sweet, friendly, and playful. Once you go in her room and visit with her, she'll immediately give you all this kisses and sit on your lap like a big 'ole lap dog she is! We're not sure how she is with other dogs, so we do recommend bringing any dogs that are currently in the home up to do a meet and greet with Ginger to see if they get along. She is house trained, but may need some time to adjust to her new homes potty routine and schedule. Ginger is current on her vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Sadly, Ginger did test positive for heartworms, but don't let that stop you from taking this lovebug home with you; her adoption does cover her heartworm treatment through our clinic in Downtown Fort Worth. Miss Ginger is ready to come home with a committed and loving family today, all she needs is you! Come meet Ginger at the Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook; we're open daily from 12-6 p.m.
