Update 3/23/2020 : Eloise is in foster to adopt . WE will post an update as soon as possible.
Update 3/6/2020 :Ellie is just a cuddly love bug........she is playful with dogs and very affectionate with older children ( a little cautious around smaller ones).
âJust an all around petite miss ready for an family to call her own. She is due to be retested for Heartworm ( we always retest prior to starting treatment) and she can be adopted to someone who is willing to care for her during her treatment ( basically take her to the 2-3 vet appointments and retract her from aerobic activities like chasing a ball, playing with other dogs, jogging.....until she is 30 days post treatment . She is crate trained and housebroken, too !
When we saw Eloise's sweet face with an " urgent ' banner, we knew we had to help her........she will be here with ASR on Friday and we will post more. She looks like a petite GSD-Husky to us but at a mere 20 lbs she will probably not be more than 35 lbs when fully grown.
We heard from the shelter she is a little shy at first and then warms up......but no wonder, she has not been well cared for in her short life......poor little girl is heartworm positive. :-(
We have started the preliminary treatment and if adopted before treatment is finished, ASR will remain responsible for the complete treatment.
Once she is safely with us will post new pictures and updates.
**When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please remember this: Up to the age of 8 months old, puppies cannot be left alone for a standard work day. Arrangements will have to be in place for 4 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old. Having someone with them every 4 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housebreaking process
If you are not yet approved to adopt from All Shepherd Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. Our adoption fee is $300.00.
