Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jolie! She is an 11 year old Shepherd mix that was surrendered to the shelter when her owners were moving. She is a sweet, happy, goofy girl who is great with dogs, cats, and children. She enjoys belly rubs, cuddling on the couch, and tossing her toys in the air.
She loves the three other dogs in her foster home and plays and cuddles with them happily. She has met dogs of all sizes and gets along great with everyone. She ignores the cats in her foster home unless they approach her and then she just gently sniffs them. She even has reportedly lived with farm animals in the past.
Jolie is completely housebroken and has no problem holding it all day while you are at work. She likes to go for walks and politely walks on leash, but she is just as happy being a couch potato. She is a quiet dog unless someone comes to the door or she sees her arch-nemesis - squirrels.
While in rescue, she had her teeth cleaned and a very large mass removed from her armpit. Unfortunately, the mass was too large to be completely removed. While it was cancerous, it thankfully is not a type that will spread but it may eventually regrow. It does appear to be a slow growth and may not be an issue in her lifetime.
