Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scooby spent his first 5 years in a packing crate, 12 hours a day. When his owner let him out of the crate he would beat Scooby bloody for being excited and happy to be free. The owner's new girlfriend contacted our rescue group and brought Scooby to us. He was 20 pounds underweight and you could see every rib. He was heartworm positive and had to undergo treatment. Scooby is a solid 60 pounds now and is perfectly healthy. He is the sweetest, happiest guy. He will need to be an only child as he had no exposure to other dogs in his early years and is very wary of them. Scooby is great on a leash and can walk with other dogs just fine. He is in training now to learn commands and manners and is doing great!!!. Scooby likes to snuggle and he likes to hike and ride in the car. This sweet boy needs someone that he can trust to love him for the rest of his life.
