Don’t let Talena’s skinny appearance mislead you into thinking she’s fragile. She may need to gain some weight but her muscles are still full of energy. She’s the type that’s quiet and shy inside and full of zest in the yard. She can be demanding on the leash when she wants to go and will need some help learning refined manners. Talena seemed pretty distracted by the other dogs in the yard the first day out but did show me a sit here and there and come when called for some pets. She was excited and occasional jumped for attention but her strong tail never stopped wagging as she soaked up friendship I was offering. Talena came to us filthy and starved, we want her to leave for a better life with people that will help her grow both mentally and on the scale.
