Oscar is a 14 mo old lab mix with a very dominant, high energy personality. We adopted him from Blue Ridge Humane society last June. He would do well in a single pet family as he does not do well with other dogs. He is loving and loyal to us, but has a hard time with visitors....although he does eventually warm up to them. He would make a good guard dog. He is a barker! He is very smart but needs someone with energy and training experience (we are in our 70's and just bit off more than we can handle with this dog) to meet his needs.
