Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maureen is a purrsnickity kitty. She is sweet, but can be fussy with people. She is a good cat for a quiet mature home with no other cats. She would be a great companion for a cat lover that likes their cat spicy!
She has good reason for catitude, Maureen was simply left behind like trash, inside of her first home. The owner died and the family just didn't care what happened to her. Someone was putting food for her through a window, but the home was locked and there was no air-conditioning during a very hot summer. She was there alone for months, it was unimaginably filthy, and she was in poor condition when a yard worker heard her crying and took matters into their own hands and took her from that horrible place.
Maureen has a lot of personality and a good happy attitude after recovering and learning about life here with us, she definitely deserves a home to call her own and is willing to give You a chance to get it right for her, this time,.
C.A.T. Rescue is not a shelter, we are foster based. We showcase our adoptable pets at adoption events most weekends at many locations such as PetSmart Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels. Tractor Supply Bulverde, Earth Angels San Marcos, etc. Visit and like our Facebook page for event schedules or contact us at CatAlliesofTexas@gmail.com.
Cat Allies of Texas Rescues' mission is focused on cats of Comal county. Our vision is to keep cats out of shelters, place adoptable cats and kittens in a home, reduce stray and feral populations through TNR. Help colony caregivers manage and care for their cats. C.A.T. Rescue will offer, when possible, humane assistance to all animals in need.
