Duke Eugene came from a neglectful home where he primarily lived outdoors and received little attention. He is about 5 years old and has quickly acclimated to being an indoor dog. He loves to snuggle, give kisses, play fetch, and is learning how much fun toys can be. He does well walking on leash and riding in the car. He has not met a stranger yet and loves going to daycare. He seems very interested in other dogs, but would also do well as the only dog. He is still learning about life indoors so he is cautious at first and can be nervous at times, but he has greatly improved in such a short time. We are still working on crate-training. He would do best in a home where he is not left alone all day or can be taken to daycare. This may improve with time as he becomes more comfortable in his new home and feels safe. He is a sweet boy deserving of a wonderful forever home. Duke Eugene is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.
