Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gizmo is about four years old and came to the shelter as an owner surrender who was peeing blood. We got him to the emergency vet and found him to be suffering from a urethral prolapse. He had surgery recently and it went well, and he is recovering in a wonderful foster home. However, he does have some other medical issues like a poor gait likely due to irresponsible breeding and flakey skin. With better food, joint supplements, and vitamins, his skin and joints will be much healthier and he will be so much happier.
It should be noted that, again due to his joint issues and the result of poor breeding, he does not like stairs as it's hard enough for him to get around sometimes. He will need a lot of joint support and hopefully a home with no stairs.
He has some vetting to complete and some healing to do, but if you are interested in adopting him, please fill out a survey today at www.playersforpits.com/adoptionsurvey!
