My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella is a 3 yr old 13lb beautiful chihuahua mix who was rescued just in the nick of time from being euthanized at a Texas shelter. She had a rough start to life and used to be terrified of people but she has shown that with a little love and patience she is ready to trust. Once she bonds to you the connection with her is magical and she gets super excited every time she sees you, even if you’ve only been gone for a few minutes in the other room. Lol
Stella does good with other dogs and she knows basic commands and is easyily trainable. She is a silly little girl that is a true joy to watch as she comes out of her shell.
Stella would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and other dogs or a least one other dog to keep her company and play with. Stella loves to beable to run around and explore with her doggy friends. And afterwards she will come in and grab her toys and roll around and play with them and then will bring them to her bed to rest. And once she is all rested up she will do it all over again. Stella has come such a long way in a short time and although she still is hesitant meeting new people she does come around once she knows you aren’t going to hurt her.
