Hello there! My name is Hank. I might look a bit familiar because I have been searching for my perfect furever family for a few months now. You think 2020 has been tough for you? I’ve been in 3 fosters and 1 apparent furever home before returning back to my PAWsome foster family.
Why you ask? Well, I, like many rescue dogs that are over the little puppy stage, haven’t had the proper training and need our furever families to help us reach our goals. I don’t want to ask a lot but I do have some special requests of my potential furever family.
So here are the facts about me:
I am loving, cuddly and a BIG SUCK
I am sensitive, this means that I react to your feelings very easily. I want to be protected, and not feel nervous. This means that when I walk on the leash, I need YOU to protect me and be the pack leader. If I feel you being the leader, I have no reason to feel anxious and nervous about cars and dogs, and we can have a great walk.
****TRAINING is required with me so we can bond together and be an unstoppable pack!
I am a PUPPY, so I am energetic. I love my 45-1 hour walk in the morning, and then lazy day for me. If I don’t get my walk, I do feel a little silly and will try and remind you.
I am a squirrel addict, so I need distraction if you have lots of squirrels around! I will mature out of this but right now they are just TOO FUN to look at, and try and chase!
I am house trained, love my bone and tasty treats.
See not so bad? Just need some help finding my way in this new world that I have never experienced before. Remember, us rescue dogs haven’t been exposed to everything that is down here in the south. We want to trust you that you will show us that it is okay and we can work through this.
