Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When Bella's owner passed away, she found herself dumped at a shelter. She was terrified and couldn't understand why no one wanted her anymore. She's just looking for someone to love and gets very attached to people who show her kindness and affection.
8 year old Bella has a hip and joint problem which means she can't walk very much, although she can support herself for short periods of time and when she goes out. She spends most of her day sleeping on her bed. She is excellent about "holding" it until you carry her outside and only needs to go out about three times a day - morning, late afternoon, and right before bed. Although she probably won't ever be your hiking buddy, she's a great snuggler.
She sleeps through the night and has no other health issues. She's usually very quiet and well-behaved but will alert you when you have visitors at the door. She has lived with both dogs and bunnies and is great with both (as long as they don't steal her food!) Can you find it in your heart to let Ms. Bella in?
If interested in Bella, please complete an application which can be found at www.seniordoghaven.org. Any questions can be sent to info@seniordoghaven.org.
Please note because all of our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to schedule a meet until we receive a completed adoption application.
