My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clementine is an 11 yr old shorthaired orange tabby female who came to us a couple of years ago after being brought up from Oregon where she had hopped from home to home as a mostly outdoor cat. The person who brought her up decided she wasn't right for her home. A friend of hers decided to try her in her Mother's home. Clem was always darting out doors and trying to get to her beloved outside. She would sleep on the woman's bed at night. Unfortunately Mom was losing her eyesight and didn't see Clem one morning when she was getting out of bed. She put her hand right in the middle of a sleeping cat and boosted herself up. What a surprise to Clem and she reacted by biting the woman. Clem had to go.

We tried her at the adoption centers and Petco but she just was not a happy cat. She didn't really want any interaction with people. When we moved her to the Cattery where she had access to our fenced in catios what a difference. She is SO happy to have outdoor access. She chirps and purrs and tippy toe dances.

She isn't really fond of living with the other cats and has had spats with some who have stayed on their way to a new life.

A home with SAFE outdoor access will be the key to her happiness with a new family.

As with all cats adopted through PAWS, they are spayed/neutered, seen by a vet, vaccinated-including rabies, and microchipped.
