My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Belinda is a 2 yr old shorthaired calico who came to us last year after giving birth to her second litter that summer and not caring for them. We put her in a foster home and she continued to have NO interest in them so she got spayed and they got bottlefed and adopted.

Belinda had been a mostly outdoor cat in her previous home so she was not happy that we were keeping her indoors and trying to interact with her. Once we were sure she was eating and drinking we gave her freedom to explore the room. She took to a high perch to watch us and get used to the routine. She will let us pet her at times and always on her terms.

She would probably enjoy outdoor time again after resetting her new home as command central for a month or so.

All cats adopted through PAWS are spayed, neutered, seen by a vet, vaccinated-including rabies, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped

All adoptions include a free vet exam at a local vet, and gift ceertificates to local pet shops.
