My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marcellus is a 10 month old tabby male who was dumped with his mom and littermates at an empty duplex. The lady in the other side called one of our foster parents and she went to get them. She had them in her home working on social skills when Mom had another litter of six one night.

He graduated to the other room and started learning how to be a pet. The foster home has older children, lots of people in and out and SUPER cat savvy dogs. Marcellus liked hanging out in the catio and watching the birds and squirrels. He likes to be petted on his terms and will come to you for pets and even brushing sometimes.

He's hanging out in a group room at our Kingston center and through the patience of our volunteers has gotten used to different people interacting with him on a daily basis. His new owner will find that patience is the key and letting Marcellus set the pace in their home and his integration into the family.


All cats adopted through PAWS are spay/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, treated for fleas and microchipped. Adoptions also include a free office visit with a veterinarian
