Charles and Wesley are are bonded pups came into a rural kill shelter together in pretty rough shape as strays. Despite their state of neglect, they were and continue to be the most loving dogs you can imagine. Despite this, they were at the shelter for over 5 months putting them at risk of being killed for space at any moment. They were beloved by both staff and volunteers who advocated to save them. We are grateful they contacted us so we can give these sweet boys a second chance at life.
We are still learning about them in their foster home, but we know they walk great on a leash and have enjoyed hiking trips (truthfully, Wesley just preferred to soak in the water). They have had only positive interactions with people and other dogs. They are 5-6 years old and just love hanging out with their humans being couch potatoes. They are very house-trained, so would do just fine with an owner who worked a typical 8 hour day. They were both well-fed and loved at the shelter, so they gained quite a bit of weight and are currently on a diet. To summarize, these are two fantastic dogs!
They are truly a bonded pair, so they are a package deal offering a potential adopter double the love!
