My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTER UPDATE 5/31/20: Tatters can be a cute ball of energy, but then she'll chill and just hang out on your lap totally content. She's curious, funny and likes to know where everyone is in the house at all times - quite the micro-manager. She's been really friendly to the few people who have been here since the quarantine.

Tatters is a good eater and litter box user as well (she hasn't had any accidents or thrown up or anything like that the whole time she's been with us). We bought her a bunch of toys which she LOVES - she especially likes her feather wand and balls to chase around the house. She'll carry them around in her mouth until she finds the spot she wants to play in. She does shed (obviously as she's a long hair tuxedo) but she lets us brush her fur and seems to like it. We really love her. She's really pretty too!

ORIGINAL POST: Tatters is a very pretty, 3-4 year old, female Tuxedo Cat. She is super friendly, gentle, quiet, and very sweet: all the characteristics of a fine lady. She loves attention and especially to be brushed. She also has great litter box manners :-). Tatters eats well, has a wonderful PURR-sonality, and would make a wonderful companion. She doesn't seem to mind other cats either!
***Tatters recently tested positive for FIV. Cats who are infected with feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) may not show symptoms until years after the initial infection occurred. Although the virus is slow-acting, a cat’s immune system is severely weakened once the disease takes hold. This makes the cat susceptible to various secondary infections. Infected cats who receive supportive medical care and are kept in a stress-free, indoor environment can live relatively comfortable lives for months to years before the disease reaches its chronic stages. FIV cannot be transmitted from cat to human, only from cat to cat.
