Here's what the humans have to say about me:
RYDER ** ADOPTION PENDING **
Ryder is a beautiful male Lab... just a little on the smaller side! He weighs about 50 pounds and about 2 to 3 years old.
Ryder gets along great with the other Labs in his foster home and really loves to play ball! He will even bring the ball back and drop it right at your feet for another toss. Playing ball is HIS THING! He shares his people with other dogs very nicely. Ryder is just as happy chilling out or playing fetch (would be great for someone who is active and wants a cool little four-legged dude to join in). Ryder could fit in with most lifestyles, the only caveat being he needs a home where he doesn’t spend a lot of time alone.
Since he is a smaller Lab, Ryder will be fine with kids about 6 years and older. He is not hyper. He loves to snuggle with people. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard for Ryder for play time. He definitely prefers to follow another big dog, so canine companionship in his new family will be important.
Ryder is just about housebroken, but picks up on rules very quickly. He is not a fan of being alone and crated, so a home where he wouldn't have to be alone for long periods of time would be best for him. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm prevention.
If you live in the DFW area and are interested in adopting Ryder, please see our web site at www.LoneStarLabRescue.org and complete the adoption application. Our adoption fee is $295 + tax
