Please note: If you are interested, an application is the first step. An application can be found on our website at www.sherylsden.org Any pup with the word “pending” after the name, means we are no longer accepting applications. If the word “pending” is not there and you are interested, please submit an application.
This pup and the siblings were born in our care. We had rescued their mother who was approx. 30 pounds, on January 25th. She is a beagle mix. She gave birth to the puppies on January 29th into the early morning hours of January 30th. Puppies were dewormed every two weeks and they have been to the vet for full exams and their first puppy shot. All have received health certificates. Adopters will have to follow up with age appropriate vet care. We have no idea who the father was so we cannot say if they will stay mom’s size or if they will be smaller/bigger. During their exams at the vet which took place on March 11th, Sally weighed 5 pounds 3 oz, Charlie weighed 5 pounds 7 oz., Lucy weighed 4 lbs, 9 oz, Snoopy weighed in at 6 pounds 6 oz., Marcy weighed in at 5 pounds even, Woodstock weighed 5 pounds, 5 oz., Franklin was 6 lbs, 7 oz., and last but not least, Linus weighed in at 6 pounds, 2 oz. Of course, each day, those weights will change. We just advise to give you a general idea of the current size.
All puppies have been around cats, an adult dog, their mom, and young children. It will be up to the adopter to continue the proper socialization. They have also been exposed to the indoor and outdoor environments. They are all doing great, they are all typical puppies that love to play, and explore the world around them. We are accepting applications. Once approved, you can set an appointment to meet a puppy. They are adoptable at 8 weeks old. Puppies are met in the foster’s front yard, and you are welcome to keep a 6 foot social distance if you have concerns.
