Meet Trace! This handsome man was rescued from Pasco County Animal Services as a 'hospice case with an inoperable malignant tumor' growing out of the middle of his forehead making him resemble a unicorn. THE BEST news is that the tumor turned out to be benign and was removed by our vets along with a few other little old man tumors on his legs. Trace is all healed up and ready for his forever home!
He is a 10 year old, 85 pound German Shepherd mix. still has significant pep in his step. Age hasn’t squelched his prey drive so no cats or small dogs. Dogs his size and people are high on his favorites list! He loves walks and does great on a leash. He really enjoyed having his foster mom home all the time. He is now in boarding after she went back to work. Trace would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be adopted by a retired couple. Trace is our miracle boy and we want him to have an amazing retirement home with lots of love and snuggles! If you can give this much deserving man the best retirement home please fill out an application on www.maxxandme.org. Trace is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption donation is only $150.
To meet Trace or any of our dogs please fill out an adoption application on www.maxxandme.org.
