We have a warm spot in our hearts for seniors and when this beautiful, regal beauty was brought to our attention we just couldn't leave her behind. Let's give a warm welcome to the newest member of the Halfway Hounds family, Sasha!

Sasha is a 13 year old Afghan Hound who ended up at the shelter when her mom fell ill and was sent to an assisted living facility. Don't let Sasha's age fool you, this dignified, gorgeous girl has plenty of life left in her. She was calm meeting new people, happily prancing around the room making her rounds, and non reactive to the dogs she was introduced to. We can tell she was well cared for in her previous home and we are honored to help her on this journey to find her forever home.
