My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Five puppies, four males and one female, were surrendered to ARF on 2/16/2020 at seven weeks old. (They were born December 28, 2019.) The momma dog was a Great Pyrenees and the daddy dog was a lab.  The owner was not very dog sauvy and didn't even know the pups were coming until they were there.  She did bring them inside, however, out of the cold and cared for them until they were older and eating on their own. Then she began to consider giving them away. Not wanting them to go into the wrong hands, ARF offered to take them, place them, and help with getting the momma spayed.  Lynard and Skynard are both brown and white males.  Skynard is a little lighter brown than Lynard.  Skynard has a white chest, tip of tail, and more white on his legs than Lynard.  Lynard has a white line down his chest to larger white and the brown goes farther down his legs.  Marshall and Tucker are both black and white males.  Marshall has four white feet along with white on the tip of his tail and on his chin and a fuzzy white chest.  Tucker just has white toes and doesn't have a white tip on his tail.  Stevie (for Stevie Nicks) is the only female and is black and white.  The puppies were dewormed with Strongid on 2/16/2020 and were given their first DHPP shot on 2/19/2020.  They were weighed when given their shots, and at only 7 1/2 weeks old the weights were as follows:  Lynard (black collar) weighed 13.8 pounds, Skynard (turquoise collar) weighed 15.7 pounds, Marshall (blue collar) weighed 15.4 pounds, Tucker (red collar) weighed 15.4 pounds, and the female, Stevie (pink collar), weighed 14.0 pounds. When they went to the vet on 3/3/20 the weights were:  Lynard, 16.8 pounds; Skynard, 19.4 pounds; Marshall, 23.4 pounds; Tucker, 18.4 pounds; and Stevie, 18 pounds. What big, healthy, beautiful, and fast-growing puppies who deserve love, care, companionship, and wonderful homes!
