Hello I am Gabriel , I am a male border collie and born on Aug 9, 2010.. Gabriel is one of 5 border collie puppies from the same litter rescued from a shelter and brought into foster care . These puppies are very good natured and social with other dogs and people. They do need another dog with them as they do not Gabriel would love a home to call his own with a great mix for a family with children. He is playful and energetic. We highly recommend a home with another dog so he has someone to romp and play with. Border Collies are a intense unique breed, in that they need a home that the family wants to do something with their dog and not just a backyard pet. Border Collies need a great deal of activity, whether in the form of exercise or “work” they can perform, such as herding, agility, obedience trials, or fly ball. Equally important, Border Collies need human companionship and should not be left alone for long hours each day. If you are considering adopting a Border Collie you must be willing to devote time and attention to meeting the needs of the dog. They will need to be spayed and neutered before a adoption can be finalized. But we are taking applications now to insure they get the perfect home.
