My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Betty White! I was rescued along with my sister about seven months ago. We were left to fend for ourselves, not easy when you're less than six month old. Human contact for us was scary, but my empty belly allowed nice people to catch me. I received medical care to keep me healthy, but I was afraid of human connection. My rehabilitators have taught me to trust and respect them along with their pack of dogs. Thank God for great mentors!

I now walk nicely on a leash and respond to light cues. I have learned to shower with my foster mom. Not bad for a former country stray, am I right? And now, I am so White!!! I've had my DNA tested and I am proud of the great breeds that make me who I am. In addition to Golden Retriever and Kuvasz (which is why I'm so white), I am also part Labrador Retriever, Border Collie and German Shepherd!

I love the pack of dogs I currently live with, so a brother or sister is important along with a fenced in yard. I have lots more to tell you and I look forward to meeting you.
