Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Molly is an absolute gem! She has not lost her sweet nature even though life gave her plenty of reasons to. She had a loving owner who sadly passed away, and she was left in the care of the owner's daughter, who had a pet dog. By accident, Molly got out of the room she had been closed in, and she was badly attacked by the resident dog. Molly was in terrible shape, with multiple bite wounds and swollen lymph nodes, and she was understandably very traumatized. Her recovery has involved intensive vet care, including flushing her wounds twice a day and heavily medicating her, but, wonderfully, an amazing local vet has provided all of her care for free and has made it her mission to get her well. Even more wonderfully, Molly has made a full recovery with no complications at all!
She is now doing great, eating well, and showing off her cuddly and friendly personality. She loves pets and belly rubs and likes to give kisses. She occasionally hisses at other cats but is not really bothered by them, so we think she would be okay in a home with a kitty friend with slow appropriate introductions, but she would definitely be happy as the furry queen of her castle. NO DOGS, PLEASE. She is great with all people and a perfect kitty in every way.
Molly is about five years old and is healthy and fully vetted including spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV negative, and FIV positive. FIV is not a big deal at all--it does not require any special care, and it does not affect her life span or the love that she has to give to her forever family! Please help her to find them.
