Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Richard is 4.5 year old friendly little doxie. He was diagnosed with IVDD when he went rear paralyzed in the fall. His family chose to do the surgery to help him recover from the paralysis. While he did resume his ability to wobbly walk he could use support of water and physical therapy and our local neuro churopractor . He remains incontinent and needs a family that can manage this lifelong. with no expectiations of improvement. We have found a belly band helps and feeding him at regular intervals to time his potty needs
Richard loves everyone except for cats. However because he is more fragile he should not be in a home with small children. Richard is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped. He has some initial separation anxiety and would do good in a home with a homebody or at least some pets to help keep him company.
We would like to see him go to a home that has IVDD experience in the local Chicago metro area. We will try to get back to you within 48 hours.
