Hi, I’m Cooper! I’m 4 years old, and the perfect mix of energy and chill. I love to go on walks and play with my friends (humans and dogs!) and I equally love to just snuggle up with my family. I am 21lbs and need to lose a little bit of weight, so I would do well with a family that can give me exercise and monitor my diet. I am a little nervous when I first meet new people, but just give me a little while to warm up and we will be friends forever! Small children scare me, so I won't be able to go to a home with children 6 or younger, but I'm ok with older and respectful kids. I am not not good with cats. I love car rides, but I do get carsick, so if you plan to take me on road trips, I may need medication to help me ride comfortably. I have a lot of love to give and I can’t wait to complete your family!
Are you interested in adopting Cooper or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to help@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
