Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Blossom!
Blossom came to us from a very abusive and neglectful situation in Arkansas where she was with 2 other dogs. The 3 of them were found abandoned in a trailer park home. It’s unknown how long they were alone but it was at least a month. Their past owner was extremely abusive to one of the other dogs mostly.
Blossom is very shy, but very sweet and trusting when given a chance. She is guessed to be about 10 months old now and some type of gorgeous Retriever Mix. She is good with about everything. She however is scared of men, but will warm up to men when given a chance and time. Blossom does have some separation anxiety. We suggest that her forever home be with someone who is home majority of the day or able to take her with them.
Blossom is housebroken. She is working on her leash training. She loves to play and run. She also loves to cuddle.
*We think Blossom will do best in a home at least one other dog. She is a lot more confident with another dog near her.
Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a teenager or adult dog.
Our standard adoption fee is $300 cash or check. It includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please visit www.rescuedrascalsil.org for an application.
Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
