Does your dog need a play buddy?! Smokey is a dog's dog. He loves to play, communicates well, and is happiest as part of a pack. He gets along great with his foster brother.
Smokey comes from a hoarding case and has had a really hard time being socialized with people. However, he has made impressive strides! Smokey's goofy, curious, and sweet personality is coming alive in his foster home. He especially loves to play with other dogs and in the kiddie pool. He is learning humans can be fun too when they bring out the toys. Smokey has picked up all the daily routines of the house, including sleeping on the bed at night. And he inquisitively greets any guest with a good sniff. Smokey continues to be shy and cautious out in public with lots of strangers. But he loves car rides, hikes, and even makes a great jogging partner. He has handled vet appointments and house sitters, too.
