My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My family and I adopted Beau from someone who was suddenly unable to keep him in their home, so he was kept in the office of an auto repair shop for many hours of the day alone, and all throughout the night.

At this time (December 2019) he was only 4 months old, and since it was becoming more and more cold outside, I could not stand the thought of him being in that shop, especially alone.

It took a only a couple of weeks to house train him, as he is incredibly smart!

However, he has tons of energy (which most puppies do of course), but we also have a 10 year old senior dog that is only a quarter the size of Beau. He just wants to play, but ends up trampling her or running over her, which causes her to yelp in pain. My little dog now spends all of her time hiding under the bed, or wherever she can seek cover in order to avoid him.

I’ve also started working full-time, which leave Beau alone for hours a day, and I believe it’s causing him some separation anxiety.
