Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riley is a 8 month old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix surrendered through no fault of his own.Riley is a sweet affectionate boy who loves to play with other doggies. He loves all toys and chewing on his bone. Riley is very high energy and needs lots of play time in and outside. He loves walks and he walks well on a leash. Riley is still working on potty training but getting much better. He needs a consistent potty schedule. He is still having a few accidents when we aren’t paying attention or don’t take him out consistently. He loves to cuddle and be with his people all the time. He looks to us for lots or reassurance and affection. He wants to by our side at every minute! Riley can sit on command and be is working on down, stay and lay down.
Riley is going into his kennel by himself with treats and toys plus he sleeps through the night in his kennel. He is a great dog and will make a great best friend.
The suggested adoption donation for Riley is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
