Meet Blue! A beautiful 2 year old pit/lab mix weighing in around 45lbs. Some things about Blue: she is playful and loves her human mom and brother very, very much. She also loves other people at her local dog run because they care for her dog-friends who she also loves very, very much. She is super fast and loves to run and every person who meets her is in awe of her grace and speed. She’s fiercely loyal and protective of her family and cohabitates with our cat with no issues. She is a warm, cuddle ball at night, sleeping right up against your body. She is potty trained and up-to-date on all vaccines.

So why do we need to re-home our beautiful Blue? Unfortunately, Blue is petrified of the city — every noise, stranger, and walking on the city sidewalks causes her to shake and shut down and its clear in order for her to grow into the dog she wants and needs to be, she needs more quiet and space. Blue would benefit most from a family or individual who has a yard and/or is very close to a park, is passionate about animals and could commit the time and resources necessary for her well-being. Someone who understands the necessity of consistent training, who has patience and empathy to help guide her out of her fearful shell AND who has experience with high anxiety dogs. If you are that person, Blue would be a perfect match and fill your heart with so much love and joy.
