If you’re on the lookout for a puppy to make a part of your family, look no further than PETEY! This handsome boy is truly the cream of the crop. He currently lives with his foster in a home containing 4 other dogs, all of whom absolutely adore him. He has learned the ropes from the other pups, making his behavior mature beyond his very young age. Like most happy healthy puppies, PETEY loves to romp, play, and explore the big world around him. However, this boy naps as much or more than he plays. He and his foster siblings all curl up for naps spooning each other. As the puppy of the bunch, he has a permanent spot as the little spoon. PETEY is truly a joy to be around and he has picked up on potty training lightning fast.
PETEY has also proven to be excellent with kids. He has been socialized outside of the home many times with his foster mommy. He even joined her on a trip to the local skydiving school! PETEY has a relaxed temperament that allows him to adjust to new situations with ease. If you are lucky enough to have this boy join your family, you will be hitting the doggy jackpot! You simply can't find a better puppy than PETEY anywhere on the planet!

PETEY is microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
His $490 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after he is officially adopted.
All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our Nashville, Knoxville and some New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com). We also use Pet Express Tupelo (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com/). Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
