My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Helen has had a rough start in life. She was surrendered to a high kill shelter when her mom could no longer care for her. Shes veryslow to warm up and trust humans, but when she does shes a love and very affectionate. Shes husky for a Chihuahua and looks like a large breed puppy, but shes an adult. Helen loves to be carried, especially when shes afraid, hasn't had much experience in the real world so she'll need someone very patient and willing to help her gain confidence and social skills.

She gets along with other small dogs as long as they're not demanding and can give her space.
She is shown by appt only and will need a few visits before she feels comfortable going with her new family. No small children as she can nip when scared.
