Eva was a pup who originally ended up at PRC as a stray in February 2016. She had been brought to the local humane society and when she wasn’t their prime adoption candidate they transferred her to animal services....the plight of a black pitbull. She ended up going to foster with one of our directors and was adopted out. Unfortunately late last year her adopters life had changed and that left Eva once again needing to be saved. We have officially had her in our rescue for 5 months now its time for her to find her forever home!
Everyone who meets Eva asks if we are sure shes 6 because her athletic body and happy go lucky attitude leads them to believe she would be much younger....and trust us, had we not previously met her, we wouldn’t believe it either! At a recent adoption Eva was the belle of the ball, attracting eyes from everyone who couldn’t help but laugh at this oversized lap dog trying to help keep a volunteer warm on a chilly Saturday morning. She wants nothing more than to be with her family, a quick game of fetch or a walk in the park, before coming back to cuddle under the blankets. Did we mention this girl is amazing on a leash? She sits when asked, doesnt pull, and absolutely adores every human she meets.
Eva currently lives in a home with 5 other dogs who she absolutely adores....frequently cuddling, playing, and sharing her toys... But can take a few minutes to feel secure around new canine friends. Did we mention she is a purrrrfect companion with her feline friends as well?
