Meet Mora, named for Gamora of the Avengers! Unlike her namesake, who was also known as the most dangerous woman in the universe, our Mora is anything but dangerous, unless you call her ability to enchant you as dangerous! Her name at the the shelter was Princess, and she was a soft, but resilient girl when we tested her there. While the temperament assessment definitely pushed her limi ts, she wanted to pass, so she continued to give her all, and pass she did! We were happy to welcome her to the Canine CellMates family!
She came into the jail tentatively, now sure what to make of this new place and all of these men. Her tail was tucked for the first 72 hours, but you should see her know! She is bright and happy, and made friends with everyone there! Her story is sad, but not a new one for us. She was confiscated when she was tethered to a tree with no food or water or shelter in sight. And she was heartworm positive, but CCM treated her for that, and she is currently a healthy happy dog!
Mora is a young girl - almost 1.5 years old - and that life of neglect is behind her now, with nothing but wonderfulness ahead for this sweet girl! She's a Boxer/Beagle mix, with a little something else in there too, and she is adorable! She is pocket sized, at about 40 pounds, and won't get any bigger - a perfect size for most homes! If sweet engaging young pups are your thing, you need to meet this girl - you are sure to fall in love with her!
