Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Button came to us from Second Chance Dog Rescue about 4 months ago. They didn't know too much about her other than she was a breeder surrender.
She's 3-year-old mini Doxie that is 10 lbs. She's spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
She bonded with me quickly and is very sweet and snuggly. Unfortunately, that means she is very protective of me, and she barks at other family members. This has been too intense for my 4-year-old son, which is why we are seeking more well-suited home for her.
I think she'd be great with a single adopter. Or a couple who both have a lot of patience if she warms to one person more quickly than another. She probably needs a home without kids, or at least older kids who can be just as patient.
She's not fully house-broken, but we've been working on it. If you can take her out frequently and are patient until she goes, she does pretty well. She's also good in her crate.
She does get along great with our other dog and cat.
