PURRFECTLY IMPERFECT


RESCUE STORY: Je T'aime was rescued in McKinney during a TNR project. When we checked the trap, we saw the most beautiful sweet face. And then we saw her leg. Je T'aime was not only beautiful and special, but she was also sweet. We could tell she longed for love and security. We promised her we'd help her find both.

PURRSONALITY: Je T'aime is FRENCH for "I love you", and her name suits her well. She loves everyone she meets, and everyone loves her right back. Je T'aime is calm, quiet and affectionate. She loves to be held and snuggled. Je T'aime has mastered the litter box, is tidy at mealtime and is a very well behaved girl.

MEDICAL HISTORY: Je T'aime is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. She has been tested negative for both FIV and FeLV. We aren't sure how Je T'aime lost part of her leg. Folks in the neighborhood said she'd been around since she was a tiny kitten, and had been missing the leg for as long as they'd known her. It is possible she was born this way. We took her for a consultation to see if it was painful, bothersome or whether it required surgery. It was the vet's opinion that nothing need be done. Je T'aime gets around just fine and does not appear to be experiencing any pain or discomfort.
