I am a male Dachshund mix. I am about 1 year old and weigh 10.2 lbs. I am neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots, microchipped, and on flea/heartworm prevention. My adoption is $300.

I am one of over 200 animals that were living in a disgusting house here in Orlando. There were 134 dogs and over 30 cats taken into rescue.

I am not well socialized and will take time to become familiar with new people and new surroundings. I might always remain somewhat fearful. If frightened or grabbed at, I might bite. I need a home with another dog and a fenced in yard.


Please email for an application. We can not bring every pet to each adoption event so once your application is received and approved, we can arrange for you to meet/adopt.

A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and we no longer accept checks. Our adoption events are held on Saturdays from 12-4 at the PetSmart in Altamonte Springs.
