Meet Beau,

Beau is a 1 year old Lab mix that is a little shy at first but once he warms up to you, he is full of joy and a zest for life. He is smart and athletic, ready to be a hard-working partner. He excels at learning quickly and will capture your heart with his eyes. Beau has socialized with other dogs, but is shy of other people, and he has not met any cats yet. He needs a family that will give him what he needs to find his way. He would greatly enjoy a fenced yard so he can play safely as much as he wants, zipping around with his toys or just being silly.

Beau was found roaming the streets, after many attempts to find an owner no one has come forth. He would like a plan if there are longer workdays, so he is not spending too much time in a crate. Beau is a bit underweight but once he fills out, he will be about 30lbs.

All Lovejoy Foundation dogs and puppies can be seen at our weekend adoption events Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm. Keep in mind our adoption events take place in an outside venue, with wet weather, high winds, and chilly temperature we would not hold a normal event, so please call ahead before coming 310-719-5707.
